Glamour portrait my way: Translated

Emil Otto Hoppe's classic vogue portrait was the over the shoulder look enhanced by models with long necks, very reminiscent of the Pre-Raphelite artists a half a century earlier, It also became the benchmark of good glamour portraits in the early 20th century. A trademark of Hoppe was also the models eyes looking up and leaving a good amount of the white of the eye ball, this communicates an almost innocent and submissive emotion.

Hoppe would also use two subjects/models whom on face value are unconnected, however, when taking time to investigate, a strong subjective link is established and the two subjects/models become inseparable.
